Kronologi Kasus Chromebook
Kasus dugaan korupsi ini bermula pada periode 2020-2022, ketika Kemendikbudristek melaksanakan program pengadaan laptop untuk PAUD, SD, SMP, dan SMA, termasuk sekolah di daerah 3T (tertinggal, terdepan, dan terluar).
Sebelumnya, Kejagung telah menetapkan empat tersangka lain, yakni mantan Stafsus Mendikbudristek Jurist Tan, eks Konsultan Teknologi Ibrahim Arief, Dirjen PAUD-Dikdasmen Mulyatsyah, dan Direktur Sekolah Dasar Sri Wahyuningsih.
Dalam praktiknya, para tersangka diduga menyalahgunakan kewenangan dengan membuat petunjuk pelaksanaan (juklak) yang mengarahkan ke produk tertentu, yakni Chromebook berbasis Chrome OS. Padahal, kajian awal menyebutkan laptop berbasis Chrome OS memiliki kelemahan dan tidak efektif digunakan di Indonesia.
